Summary:

In order to facilitate and manage the growth of the business, HammerTek is seeking an energetic, detail oriented individual to join our team in Bethlehem, PA. Responsibilities include management of sales team, technical sales of industrial components to various industries, direct response to customer inquiries, and working with the Marketing Department to expand sales of HammerTek products. Candidates should have sales experience with a technical background. Excellent written & verbal communication skills are essential. Pneumatic conveying experience is helpful. Some travel required.

General Areas of Responsibility:

  • Sales Processes
  • Drive business development in new and existing markets
  • Manage key client relationships
  • Develop and maintain manufacturer’s representatives and distributor relationships
  • Collaborate with executive management setting company sales goals and quotas
  • Direct responses to customer inquiries including application evaluation and product recommendation when required
  • Sales Team Management
  • Oversee, mentor, and motivate team of Product Application Specialists.
  • Create territory sales goals
  • Evaluate and improve sales team workflows and methods
  • Corporate Management
  • Prepare sales budgets and performance reporting
  • Collaborate with marketing department to create and manage direct marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate with operations team to resolve customer complaints regarding products or services
  • Collaborate with operations team to create business SOPs and workflows

Requirements:

· Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing

· Ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships

· Ability to make solid decisions and recommendations in a rapid paced, forward thinking environment

· Ability to perform assigned responsibilities with minimal to moderate supervision, adhering to deadlines and commitments

· Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously

· Ability to compile, review and reconcile data for accuracy, completeness and compliance

· Ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondences, and other written materials

· Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, codes, standards and regulatory requirements

· Knowledge of and ability to use standard computer applications including, but not limited to MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidates should have 5 years sales experience with a technical background. Sales experience in bulk material handling is a plus. An engineering or similar degree is also a plus.
